Lead Services
Lead-Based Paint Inspection
When receiving federal funding, you’ll need to follow the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Sources of lead exposure, including lead-based paints, are regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Our team includes accredited Inspectors, risk assessors, and supervisors that are trained in testing and abatement methods using state of the art technology.
Our team can inspect for lead prior to a renovation to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for worker’s Right to Know and protection, as well as the EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Paint (RRP) program.
Our inspection reports include maps depicting the location of lead, test results, explanation of applicable regulations, and recommendations.
Lead Risk Assessment
Lead hazards aren’t limited to paint. Exposure can also come from dust, soil, and even drinking water. Our certified Risk Assessors conduct thorough evaluations to identify potential lead risks throughout your property, following Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.
These assessments not only test for lead but also determine the likelihood of exposure. When hazards are found, we provide clear, practical recommendations for mitigation to help you reduce risk and protect occupants. Especially when buildings are child-occupied.
Lead in Drinking Water
Our services can be as simple as a desktop review of local drinking water quality reports and regulatory violations, or can be as in depth as on-site testing.
Our professionals are trained to strategically collect samples using methods that can determine if the source of lead is originating on your property or coming from the public water supply. This approach helps guide effective planning for mitigation.
